Cosmicland

Branching off of the Renaissance and Da Vinci Square is a land that begins in the Age of Enlightenment and evolves into the future. Cosmicland is one of the most diverse lands in the entire park, spanning several generations of historical significance in discovery, exploration, and humanities.

The literary influences stem from the transition of Victorian era novels in Literaryland and towards science-fiction/fantasy authors such as H.G. Wells' The Time Machine and George Orwell's 1984, to the 20th Century science and mathematics discoveries of the DNA model and the Theory of Relativity. Mixing both steampunk, retro-futurism, and contemporary architectural designs, these aspects also blend with all the other lands in the park which represent earlier ideas of evolved concepts such as the cosmos and the worlds beyond our own.

40 - The Universe of Relativity 相対性理論の宇宙

Pitched as a 'Horizons scale of Adventure Thru Inner Space', this slow moving attraction narrated by Michio Kaku, a contemporary Japanese/American physicist, explores how ancient civilizations viewed the stars and the cosmos. How constellations told stories. How our early ancestors set out in search of the answers to our universe, and how those answers have changed over time.

The finale of the attraction is one of the most ambitious and mind-bending endings of any theme park attraction. With Kaku's mention of 'string theory' a 360 expanding universe rotates around you as you go hurtling through space to the edge of the known universe, and into the unknown 'dark matter' This world-altering trip presents theories and postulations that our contemporary scientists and astronomers search for today, thanks to the progress made by the scientists and theorists in Renaissance Street, Ancientland, and Bushiland.
