A Twist in Time: Finale
1st Floor Exhibits
At the Wonders of Life Pavilion - there will be a variety of areas and themes to explore regarding health and wellness in all shapes and sizes. From the more medically based physiological health on the second floor - to the emotional, psychological, and exercise-induced health on the first floor. In this segment we will explore the areas that the first floor has to offer.

The Psychology Department
As you walk through the black and white/colorful logo of the brain and enter the psychology department - there will be a variety of interactive elements to investigate.
The Memory Test
As you walk into the Memory Test Location, you see images of Henry Molaison and Clive Wearing and plaques to the sides in the queue line - and below the plaques are descriptions illustrating their conditions. Both were famous psychology patients that had short term memory loss - to the point where they couldn't remember tasks that happened as little as 2 minutes ago. However, both could still function in normal life.
Plaques next to these people show the hippocampus and other areas of the brain associated with memory.
As well as a looped infomercial about how memory is stored -- through Recall, Recognition, Relearning
And examples of each:
Recall - reach back into mind - fill in the blank test
Recognition - M/C Test - old info when presented with it.
Relearning - refreshing/reinforcing info - studying for the final exam
You can then play a game where you test your memory of certain images that flash onto a computer screen - such as a cat, bird, dog, goat, etc -- and they flash up quick. Your job is to remember the order in which they are presented.
Most people will have a 7+/- 2 capability with memory - and statistically the first and last images will be most remembered. the 7 +/- 2 is why phone numbers are 7 digits - most people can remember in that range - but test your memory to see what you can get!

Know Your Brain! A Maze Through the Brain
Another location in the Psychology Department is the Brain Maze
In this walk through maze - (which looks like a brain from the 2nd floor balcony!) - you learn about the parts that you're walking through with visual cues and images throughout.

The Pediatric Wing
Adjacent to the Psychology Department will be the Inside Out themed kiddie area - which delves into children/adolescent emotions and mental health - using themes and characters from the film - to relate more to children.
Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust - guide you on a journey through emotions and growing up - in an interactive play area - where you can learn about your emotions on an emotional level (pardon the pun)
In the Inside Out area, you can also explore several parts of Reilly's conscious - such as the several lands in her brain - as an allegory to the areas of the actual human mind.
Health and Wellness Zone
In the back half of the pavilion on the first floor will be a Health and Wellness area, focusing on physical fitness, and healthy eating habits. Coming in 2022, there will be an add on to the MyDisneyExperience App - where you can track what you eat and how much you walk throughout your vacation - and the Health and Wellness area is a place you can come for tips and healthy eating habits to stay in shape.
In addition to this - stationary bikes with visuals of biking through Epcot, will be available for guests to use and track their caloric burn in the process. Several other physical fitness endeavors will be available to guests here - and moreover - the area is tied together with the two story table service restaurant - titled "The Synapse"
The Synapse
Adding a table service restaurant to Future World East - the Synapse will be a health based dining experience - with all foods GMO-free, no preservatives, and a variety of dietary offerings such as Gluten and Dairy free dining.
Among the choices though - some may think off the bat that if it isn't dripping in bacon, then it won't be a good restaurant - however there will be many delectable items on the list - each where you can track your calorie intake as well.
For instance the appetizers of salads and soups will offer a wide array of different culinary palates to choose from - such as a Mediterranean salad or authentic whole grain tomato soup.
On the dinner menu - there will be a variety of pasta, chicken, and fish samplings - as well as whole grain pizzas and breads to go along with it in your choice selections.
For desert, there is frozen yogurt and fruit melodies to choose from.
The Synapse will be a unique offering in Walt Disney World as a whole. With the focus on healthy eating and less turkey legs, it will be original in the sense that it stands out from the rest of the dining options in Disney. Sometimes you want a break from all the fast food - and at The Synapse - it will give families the opportunity to indulge in more healthy options while still tasting delicious in the process!
